The All-Star Match or All Stars Game is a landmark of any dignified hockey or basketball league, not only of a continental, but also of a students’ one. Spectacular sports need a spectacular show comprising the very best.
In its showiness, beach soccer equals or betters either hockey or basketball. Thus it’s no wonder that the strongest Beach Soccer National League of the planet has decided to create its own landmark on the second year of its broad format existence. Starting from 2015, the Russian Beach Soccer Super League will host All-Star Matches with the first edition to be held in Sochi.
The date of the Match is not fixed yet but it will take place either on 19 or 28 of September 2015. The date depends on the result of the matches played. If the winner is determined after two matches played, the All-Star Match will take place on Saturday, 19 September 2015. If the teams have to play three matches to determine the Russian Beach Soccer Super League Winner, the All-Star Match will take place on the Russian Beach Soccer Cup day of rest, 28 September 2015.
The zest of such events, of course, is a choice of format and line-ups for the All-Star Match. For the first edition, the Organizers have decided to choose the most evident format: best Russian beach soccer players vs. the strongest foreign beach soccer players of the Russian Beach Soccer Super League. There are 20 foreign beach soccer players performing in the Russian Beach Soccer Championship and all of them will participate in the vote. However, the number of Russian beach soccer players is much higher. Due to this, it was decided that only the players that had been called up to the Russian Beach Soccer National Team, either for an event or a training camp, this year will participate in the vote. Therefore there are 21 Russian beach soccer players on the list of candidates.

All Candidates for the Beach Soccer Team of Russia

The voting procedure is as follows. All the players are divided into five positions: a goalkeeper, a defender, a utility player, a winger and a forward. Our website visitors are the first to choose players for each position. Basing on the voting result, a player, having received the majority of votes for each position, will receive the right to play the All-Star Match. Thus, the four starters and the goalkeeper will be determined for both the Team of the World and the Team of Russia.
The position of a goalkeeper of the Team of the World is an exception as there are only two candidates: Vitaliy Sidorenko and Vladimir Hladchenko and they automatically qualify for the Team of the World and the voting will only determine which of the two will play in the starting line-up.
The voting for the website visitors will finish at 23:59 (local time) on 16 September 2015. After that, the Super League Organizing Committee will choose one more player for each position. These beach soccer players will compose the second four and the second goalkeepers of the both Teams. The final line-ups of the both Teams participating in the All-Star Match will be announced at 17:00 on 17 September 2015.
